Title: Loki on a Rampage

It is a warm August evening, and people are out and about shopping, walking their dogs or just jogging. The Upper East Side is the more affluent section of the city. For the moment, nothing seems amiss in the neighborhood. Kids are playing outside of their homes, cars pass smoothly down the street, everything is just peachy.

But everything isn't peachy. A certain black and green leather-clad individual is lurking in the neighborhood, with no good intentions on his mind. He kicks over a garbage can with a loud clatter, then punches a parking meter. He's angry and confused and worried, all his emotions boiling inside of him, swirling around in his mind until he finally just grips his hair at the temples and emits an echoing roar-like sound, shapeshifting into a twenty foot tall frost giant and begins swiping at anything in sight. If he's to destroy the world, he's going to do it on his own terms!

***

Rustling from his trance by the disturbance in the outside world, Doctor Stephen Strange stands straight up in his greenwich abode and using his sorcerous abilities he summons his attire and equipment as he leaps out to the skies.

The wizard rapidly approaches the scene being caused by the true form of Loki, "Loki, cease this madness!" He calls out, floating in the air about ten yards away from the rebelling menace.

***

Bruce wonders idly as he looks at the prices on the display before him what bank he needs to knock over to afford it. That's when he hears a familiar roar. He runs a hand through his hair, before going to see what the bloody heck is going on. "I hope Mr. Green isn't needed."

***

Rules. Protocols. Manuals. Daily training in firearms, tactics, and on the occasions where she can use her exo-frame, basic unarmed combat. But Lissandra's latest assignment has been to check over systems at the Avenger's mansion, particularly their rooftop hangar and launch systems. Plenty of ways she can make those better, but tonight she's taking a break and making a pizza run. Or she was about to before a giant blue monster appeared and started with the ultraviolence. And then there's a flying guy in a cape.

With a sigh she activates her implant sensory suite and logs in to the SHIELD comms network. "Agent Vorhes reporting a disturbance near Avenger's mansion. Patching in visuals for identification of players." She holds her gaze on the frost giant and Doctor Strange long enough to send a good shot of each before loading herself onto her mobile lab in the mansion's driveway where one of her exo-frame is waiting. "I'll be mobile in three minutes."

***

Figures. JUST as you finish with a shower… Mike wasn't exactly in anything bordering the line of a uniform when the report pops on. So, a quick towel, some jeans that are probably clean and a quickly tugged on light grey hoodie it is. Eh. Close enough. Hood pulled down low, and making sure he does remember his comm unit, he closes his eyes, shifting into a more familiar Avian form.

***

Steve nonchalantly paces his hog along a lazy ride through Manhattan's Upper East Side, enjoying for as long as he can a brief respite from the seemingly never-ending adventures that the Avengers seem to always find themselves enveloped in. This break, of course, does not last long at all, as the comms suite embedded into the psuedo-dash of his chopper cracks and buzzes with urgent activity. Steve lifts his wrist to his mouth, keying a wrist-watch microphone by proximity to relay an acknowledgement of the transmission, as well as to inform the personnel standing by at Mansion that he is already in-route to investigate.

***

Jotun!Loki emits an angry roar and starts pushing against a building with all his strength. Stephen is answered with a swipe of his blue arm, shooting shards of ice at him. The air in the area becomes much colder, and the ground begins to ice over. "Get away from me!" He growls, shoving the building walls over, collapsing it into rubble.

***

Lifting a single hand to brush away the attacks, Stephen lowers his shield a moment later, "I wont ask you again Odin-son, stop your attack now or suffer the consequences." Strange's cape blows in the wind but doesn't seem to react to the cold air rushing from Loki's giant cold form.

***

"Whoa…" Bruce has seen big, but, this is big. "Okay, well, I hope Stephen can handle this." He notices the expanding cold, and takes a step back, "Otherwise, the real estate value is gonna take a serious hit."

***

"On my way as well." Phantasm responds to Steve, the raven looks a little odd with the com now shrunk down on the side of the two foot tall bird's head. Flying through the window, he then takes up higher, following the sounds of Chaos.

***

Lissandra grabs the ceiling rings that allows her to lift herself from her wheelchair and sends an activation signal to the exo-frame bay to begin connection. The rumble and tremors from the collapsing building come as she's pulling on her helmet as the power-up cycle completes. "Agent Vorhes checking in and taking the high road. Who else is in the neighborhood?" Once out of her mobile lab she kicks in the exo-frame's grav units to take her across the street and to the rooftops." She takes a moment, like she always does, to revel in the freedom of being able to run in the exo-frame even if it's temporary. Then she's back on the job, drawing a rifle version of her lockdown gun. Maybe this thing can be stunned. Hopefully.

***

Loki is even tougher skinned in this form, but he has his weaknesses. He is a frost giant, anyway. He stomps down and crushes a compact car, picking it up and throwing it. "Just go awaaaay!" he roars. "If they want me to destroy the world, then that is what I'll do!"

***

"No!" Stephen shouts as he flies forwards, his right hand snapping forward and sending a shield between Loki's frozen foot and the parked car to protect the property finally stepping into action. "I can not allow you to destroy this world Odin-son!" The wizard bellows out to the ice-demon. He then sends the shield skywards, trying to flip Loki onto his large back.

***

"Oh for f-" As the sounds of fighting become clearer, the bird that is Phantasm starts flapping harder.

***

Bruce okies, "This is getting out of hand." As he says this, his voice changes, deepening, and his eyes go green, the hint that a certain green goliath is making his appearance, clothing starting to rip apart

***

Good thing the rooftops here are fairly regular. Lissandra gets within a block of the fight and is lining up her shot when her sensors ping her with an alert: a pedestrian profile suddenly starting to change in a way the SHIELD systems are familiar with. Apparently the Hulk is making an appearance this evening as well. But as her supervisor Agent May would say; One target at a time. She draws a bead on the frost giant, allowing the systems to scan for three seconds before firing a series of five strong stunning shots at the beast. Fingers crossed.

***

When Stephen throws that shield, Loki staggers backward, nearly falling. "What's the point?" Loki asks, creating a round ice shield on his arm. "You're all going to burn anyway!" His new shield deflects two of the stun shots from Lissandra, but three of them hit, sending him down to one knee. The ground trembles under his weight and power, and he takes a moment to catch his breath, shaking his head to clear it, not that it is very clear at the moment. "Just go away!"

***

"I refuse to accept that fate. Your time on this plane should have made that clear to you. Human's don't simply give up." Strange says before moving closer towards the god on his knee. "Help us fight, don't do our foes work for them."

***

Flap flap flap flap! The raven flies over to the ice giant, perching onto the shoulder of the kneeling being. Despite the relatively large size of the bird, he seems rather small compared to the 20 feet of his newfound perch. But he seems fine otherwise. Having heard a small bit of exchange in his approach, he turns his head to speak into Loki's ear, trying not to broadcast what it is he's saying to everyone nearby. "Remember the Grandmaster? Remember our battle?"

***

The green goliath isn't so much for talking. He sees a threat, and goes to introduce Loki Giant blue guy to his fist, sparing a glance at the raven.

***

Alright, he can be stunned. Good. Anything Lissandra could use on short notice to take the giant down permanently wouldn't be friendly to others. But her shot's been blocked by other players who seem to be at least making contact. So she fires a burst from her exo-frame's grav units to aid her jump to the other side of the road and get a better line of fire and hopefully avoid coming between the blue giant and the green one making his presense known.

***

Not seeing the punch come in, which, is amazing in itself. Really, Big green guy's big green fist sailing in from the side. How the hell do you miss that? But there you go. What He doesn't miss is the after effects of his perch pitching forward facefirst into the ground out cold. Leaving the bird sitting on thin air for a few moments before he considers flying again. The head turns, looking to Hulk.

***

"Well done my large friend." Stephen says towards the Hulk, "But I could use one last bit of help if you don't mind." Strange says with a motion of his hand urging the Green Behemoth closer. "I need to keep him safe in my house. I could use your help taking him there."

***

Hulk looks to Stephen Strange, an eyebrow raising. He certainly didn't expect the foe to be defeated so easily. Taking a deep breath, the green behemoth looks at Loki's comatose body, then back to the Sorcerer Supreme, "Fine." Moving around, he grabs one of Loki's feet, and starts dragging him in a random direction, seeming to increase in size as he goes
