Title: Post Limo Concerns

Avengers Mansion is surrounded on three sides by a twelve-foot high concrete and reinforced omnium steel wall, with an omnium steel fence along Fifth Avenue. The yard, doors, and windows all have numerous surveillance systems to ascertain the identities of all visitors and detainment devices to intercept unauthorized personnel. These included stunnulator cannons with heat-sensitive tracking systems, and automated detention coils framing the doors. Visitors seeking entrance to the mansion were screened at the front gate (also of omnium steel.) The garden and patio in the backyard have sufficient foliage to afford Avengers a fair degree of outdoor privacy. The main floor of the mansion contains no materials vital to the Avengers' security or functions and thus was occasionally opened to the public for press conferences and social functions. The Avengers' only dining facilities were on the main floor, as was the private library. The Avengers' butler Edwin Jarvis was the only person afforded quarters on this flo0r.

After an odd encounter on the street with a Limo and Loki, Mike's initial goal to get out of the mansion for a little bit was circumvented with another issue. One of which he didn't wish to talk about outside. And SO…. Mike finds himself stepping back into the mansion after telling Natasha he wants to talk to her.

It took her a couple more minutes to get inside than it did for Mike.. she had to park her bike and deal with some people speaking to her. But she did show up and when she did she walked inside and went over to a gear storage closet and put her helmet inside of it, shaking her red curly hair (she got a new hair doo!) she tried to short it and not have wicked helmet hair. Her gloves were pulled off one after the other and she walked toward Mike. "You seem a bit concerned about something?" she said to him.

Mike is quiet as he watches Widow close the door and remove her gear. Not speaking until she indicates she's ready. "More, trying to make sure we're on the same page here." Mike replies, folding his arms in consideration of the agent. "I get the whole, not showing your cards thing. But it's getting really old as to knowing WHAT to bring up and what not to bother with."

Natasha listed her cell phone up and she started to flip through a few things while she listened to him speak to her. She wasn't trying to be rude, she was just a very busy person. Her eyes came up to him then and she smile softly at him, it was a kind smile, even sweet. "Its realy pretty simple, Mike. I need you to bring everything up with me. All of it. Any time you think of something, I want to hear you say it to me or text it to me, or e-mail it to me or write a letter on a typewriter and have that sent to me." She paused then and looked back down to her phone. "I need this, because it helps me to know everyone's angle. You may feel that I'm 'playing dumb' with you sometimes, and its true, I am." A sharp exhale, her phone was lowered back to her belt pouch. "Its just how this works."

"Or." Mike replies, "Instead of doing feelers around, you just ask what it is you need to know. Mike grumbles." Shaking his head. "Do I really need to explain the concern about his using the plural of sorceror when discussing our team or was that the playing dumb part?"

Natasha put her phone back in the pouch it belonged in on her utility belt and she zipped the pouch shut. She smiled at him soeftly as he said this and then folded her arms across her stomach. "I'd love to hear what your concerns are about that." She said with a calm voice and no other worded reply.

"Publicly, Loki's the only known sorceror on our team," Mike responds, "Yes, my powers are magic but the only people who would know that are either on this team, the one who gave me the powers, Dr. Strange, and other magic involved persons. Strange has swung by and he's a sorceror, but that's not really advertised, so, where would he get the notion we have more than one sorceror here if he's just a basic scientist?"

"He'd have to have not been a basic scientist." Natasha replied to Mike then. "Basic scientists don't drive around in limousines to ask questions about 'physics'." She glanced back toward the doorway and then at Mike again. "I think we stepped in front of something out there, that may have lead to an… interesting climax. And if this, Dr. Florschuetz, truly is on the level? He'll go through the normal channels to have a conference as we suggested. If not?" She shrugged her right shoulder a little. "He's going to make another grab for Loki."

"If I was the type to bet my money, I'd go with the second option." Mike comments. "Loki can be a bit too trusting of people at times. And with how quickly he just got in that Limo…" He shakes his head. We already had that posession incident with Hydra, and the rescue mission in Latveria… He sighs.

"Naive." Natasha was quick to describe the Asgardian. "He believes that his powers cannot be trumped by anything on this planet and it leads him into this false sense of security." She smiled faintly then. "At least, that is my observation." A short pause then. "I considered going around the limo and yanking that mysterious doctor out of it to see who it was… but had it turned out to be a true scientist, well. Then that might've ended poorly." A sharp in hale was taken and then a subsequent exhale- "Keep watch on him as best as you can, Loki that is. I'm going to run the licese plate on that limo and see what comes up."

"After his stay at Doom's He should know that isn't the case." Mike replies, he glances to the door which blocks the view of the the path leading to the sidewalk that Loki disappeared from, "I'll do what I can." Mike replies with a nod, "He's going to want to vent for a bit first but he'll cool off eventually."

A soft nod of understanding is given from Natasha. "Well he trusts you more than he does me." She quietly adds. "Anyway, if there's nothing else, I'll head on… Oh and are you keeping up with your drills?" She asked him.

"Probably because he's a brother to me." Mike murmurs, looking up at Natasha as she asks about his drills. "Yeah, I've added it to my morning practice regimen. Fortunately I have a lot of empty space in my room to where I can transition nicely."

Natasha flashed him another small smile then. "Fantastic." She said. "Its a hell of a workout, huh?" She then started to walk again. "Let me knwo if anything else comes up and if you see our friendly little limo creeping around out there."

"It's alright." Mike replies, giving a smile. "I prefer the climbing wall but what needs to be done, needs to be done." Mike doesn't follow after Natasha, allowing for her to make her leave. "I'll keep an eye out."
